Kitchen Apron - Designs and Patterns
The
kitchen apron can come in different lengths, cuts and garments. It can be made of pinafore, or cover just the upper or lower part of the body. Aprons are usually fastened using two ribbon-like strips of cloth. A common feature of bib aprons is a strap around the neck for additional support. Aside from cotton, aprons can be made of thicker material like jeans, or waterproof fabric. Sometimes a kitchen apron would include corporate logos or humorous expressions, like “kiss the cook.” The dishtowel apron is more commonly worn by women and is ideal for kitchen activities that may involve spattering of liquids.
